A Pre-Surgical Exam:
To be sure your pet is healthy enough for surgery and that his vaccines are up to date.
Preanesthetic Blood Testing:
To check liver and kidney and other organ function and red and white blood cell count prior to putting your pet under anesthesia and to check their parvo titer for vaccine immunity.
IV Catheter and Fluids:
To keep pet hydrated and maintain blood pressure during surgery.
Surgical Monitoring:
To monitor your pet's heart blood pressure, level of oxygen in the blood and the body temperature during surgery.
Pain Management:
Pain Medication and pain relief drugs to take home to keep your pet comfortable
Hospitalization:
Pet is usually discharge the same day (cats), Dogs the next day.

Hip X-rays of large breeds to screen for Hip Dysplasia during anesthesia
